Removing asphalt sealant from glass and paint

Asked by Astreet1290 Nov 19, 2016 at 01:00 PM about the 2014 Hyundai Tucson SE FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

The office building that I work in is having the roof
replaced.  My car is covered in what appears to be
some type of glue.  Tiny translucent specks that feel
like sandpaper.  How do I remove it without
scratching the glass or paint?

1 Answer

Try Meguiar's Smooth Surface Clay Kit, it will remove surface contaminants and leave the paint glassy smooth. The key is to use the lubricant that they provide and not to let the clay dry out.
