Spark plugs not going in properly. Then when it does it's further out then the rest.

Asked by CelesTina74 Jun 07, 2018 at 01:17 PM about the 2003 GMC Yukon SLT

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

What's going on? All plugs went in fine this one plug on
driver's side third in goes in to close to bottom, and sticks
out. Also the spring from the wire case that goes over the
plug been missing since I bought it almost 2yrs ago. But, was
told that didn't really matter long as the casing stays where
it's supposed to.

I would replace the spark plug wire. You may need to tap out the spark plug hole as it sound like you have damaged threads.
