Can I return car 10 days later
I just bought a car that I found on CarGurus from a
used car dealer. Exactly 7 days after getting the car I
found out that the engine was leaking oil. I contacted
the dealer brought the car to him for him to see it and
he verified it. he says that I need to use my warranty
that I paid an extra $2300 forand pay $100 deductible.
I contacted the warranty company and they said it is
not included in the warranty that I paid for. Can I return
the car?

Your contract is with the used car dealer, and as you've now found out, it's basically worthless. Added insurance won't cover what they consider pre-existing conditions. From now on, never buy a used car without having a mechanic check it out prior to purchase. And never trust any dealer..... At this point, report this dealer to your state's Bureau Of Automotive Repair. They might help you get the dealer to repair this, or take the car back.

Ask the dealer to take it back. Read your contract.
Check the law in your State. Most States now have a "cooling off period" law for major purchases such as a house or vehicle. This allows you to back out of the purchase within a certain time period. In my State it's 3 days. Personally I'd get an estimate for the cost to repair the leak. If it's not too expensive I'd just have it fixed and enjoy my new vehicle! Hope that helps! Jim
