Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My car clicks when I try to turn it on. Radio
lights and ac come on but won’t turn over.
Battery light, check light, oil light and
power steering light come on and stay on.
Hoping it’s just a battery. Toyota Camry

The easiest step one in the diagnosis is placing a digital volt meter across the battery terminals to read voltage when you attempt a restart.. absent that....you might consider a properly performed ...Jump Start. Careful now...if this JS is done incorrectly....big $$$$$....reparce are the result. If she cranks over well and stzrts up...we know the battery is the issue. We would then use that VM to check the Charging System and excessive parasitic draw to further inhance the diagnosis. Get back to us with your thoughts.

Ok good. Use caution when replacong that battery. Follow the procedure suggested for your make model year. Dont be surprised if the engine does not run like it used too upon restart. A Computer Relearn might take place. We usually...upon restart after a battery replacement....is....we allow the engine to idle in drive...brakes applied...AC on.....for about 5 min. Then we road test before returning vehicle to customer.

Oh thank You! That’s exactly what happened. First time i turned it on everything flashed and my screen was bright blue and blank then it turned off. I tried it again and sat there a few minutes while it ran and cooled down then drove around the block
