I just changed my water pump about 2 weeks ago. Everything was fine. Now my gmc 2004 yukon is getting hot again but not leaking anything. Why?

assuming the fluid levels are ok, it is possible that you need a thermostat. also, if it overheated bad enough, you could have a bad head gasket, but you would probably notice loss of fluid if that were true. If you are losing fluid or suspect a head gasket, do a combustion leak test. napa kit is about 40 bucks and there are good youtube vids on the subject.
