why did my mercades instrument panel stopped working

Mercedes just informed me it'll cost $2,400 to fix!!! I'll NEVER buy another Mercedes again.

I am experiencing the same problem with my 2014 GLK. Instrument panel is black, right and left turn directional levers don't work, trunk won't open and navigator went from miles to kilometers. Took it into MB dealership. Told me cost is $2100. Fighting it now.
