What may be the cause of this overheat?

My 2014 dodge journey sxt 3.6
overheated. The only evidence I
gad while driving was my gage.
When I look tank was empty no
evidence of spraying or steam
coming out. But I found coolant on
the lower back of the motor any
ideas?

Hi, we have the same problem. Dodge Journey 2014. 2.4 We've taken to the mechanic twice, and they didn't found the problem. Coolant coming and going to the container. Did you solve this problem ?
