Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Hi my name is Damien. i have a 2005 GMC Envy. I just changed my front
driver side brake caliper and pads. After i changed everything my brakes
bleed them i noticed when i had test the brakes they were extremely spongy
so i decided  inspect the side i just worked on.and noticed the brake piston
calipers never extended out. So after i bleed them again, i tried to check to
see if i had any pressure when i had pressed my brake pedals and still
spongy. Just need to know what i maybe doing wrong so i can try to fix
it.thanks

ABS system has to be open in order to bleed these properly. A high end scanner like a Tech II can open. OR, remove the ABS relay, find a gravel road and stomp on the brakes several times, this will open it sometimes, but not always.
