2005 gmc envoy denali will not start

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

While attempting to start:
* lights and radio work
* engine cranks but will not start
* While cranking the engine does not even sputter like it is trying to start.

I moved the gear shift in and out of park...still nothing

After about 10 attempts and about 10 minutes the engine did start.
The engine caution light stays on now.

If it was the fuel pump wouldn't the engine sputter or quit while running? Is the pump electrical or mechanical ? Just went out and started the truck 5x...no issues? glitch or real problem?
