Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I don't see the inline fuel filter shown on some videos and wonder why there
seem to be Outbacks with both inline and inside the fuel tank and mine
doesn't?

I would agree but besides the small 1 inside the fuel pump, I can't locate the inline I purchased supposedly for it nor where it could possibly fit! Thanks for your input.

There is no inline fuel filter on your car. There is only a sock style filter on the pump inside the tank. It is recommended in the maintenance intervals to have that replaced every 60,000 miles. Unfortunately someone sold you a part that your car doesn’t have at all.
