ECO button not wrk'g, engine light on

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I saw my check engine light was on, had it checked by a certified cadi repair
tech, was told the error was ECO is not wrk'g causing the check engine light
to stay on.  We press the ECO button nothing happens, meaning the dash
indicator ECO light doesn't come on.
Does anyone know how to fix or what i need to do to fix it. Car is out of
warranty, hoping i can fix myself.

GuruHBY1Q thanks for your patience & your help the error code is "P159F Fuel Economy Switch Circuit Low Voltage"
