2014 Ford Fusion Radio
My screen works but can’t hear the sound. Volume is up. Also a few of the
tabs on the touch screen do not work. Tried battery disconnect and a few
other things I read. Any ideas?

Having the same issue also with my 2014 Ford Fusion. I tried many of the fixes mentioned but no luck. The dealer told me they would diagnose issue for $120. The issues with this car has been unbelievable; all the recalls, air- conditioning motor went bad and now the radio. The car is only 6 years old and has been a lemon since day one! If someone figures out the radio issue, please post! Thank you!

I am going to remove everything later today and install metra dash kit and Sony CarPlay radio and see if it works and post results
Oh and it’s a 2014 Ford Fusion 4” screen won’t change stations I removed fuse 33 so the door chimes and all the other stuff work now .. but no sound from anything .. no stock amplifier.. I checked all fuses they are fine and I’ve done battery cable reset ... left unplugged all night .. nothing works .. soo I got the metra dash kit and a new radio and will change it all today or tomorrow and see if that fixes it
I’m having the same issue. 2013 Ford Fusion. All of a sudden I heard a pop when I went to turn on my car and no sound or sync ability. I’ve tried the reset. Doesn’t help. And I’ve called around and because the AC is connected to it it’s very expensive to replace. Sheesh. Plus they want $160 diagnostic fee on top of that. Anyone have any suggestions? I’m not good with cars so I don’t know how to check my fuses or anything, not even able to change out the radio part either.
Can you change the radio stations ? If not it’s the acm ... no sound no station changing capabilities ... I had the 4.2” screen no touch screen ...I ripped the whole thing out and bought a metra dash kit and new radio and all good now 2014 Ford Fusion so same thing as yours ..can you hear any of the chimes like door open or key in ignition or seatbelt not on ? If not pull fuse 33 it’s a yellow mini fuse 20 amp under steering column left side if you pull it and it’s not blown and you can hear the door open chime it’s definitely the audio control module which is the CD player .. leave fuse 33 out for now .. you can replace the acm yourself it’s a 15 minute job if you can find a replacement then have a Ford dealer reprogram it it doesn’t automatically work ... but best bet is the dash kit shown in picture and new radio all together was $400 for the dash kit and radio is preference I went with a Sony Apple CarPlay no cd $200 on sale xav-ax1000 .. if you have any questions or need some help I am happy to walk you through checking .. trust me it was a headache but I figured it out
I replaced the ACM unit in my 2014 Ford Fusion and everything is working fine now - Radio, door chime, etc. EXCEPT when I answer my phone hands free I can't hear the caller. They can hear me and it picks up the call perfectly but I can't hear them. I have reported the problem to the manufacturer and they say I must have pinched a wire when installing or that I need a code. I think it's a defective unit as everything else works. If I needed a code then the radio wouldn't work either ....correct? HELP before the 90 day warranty runs out !!!!
