04 WRX won’t start

Hello I have a 2004 Subaru WRX with an
issue with starting. Before turning the key to
start the car and having accessory on, the
lights will turn on, radio and lights in car
work. When I turn the key on it would make
one click noise and all of the electronics
would go dim. Took off the positive terminal
cable off the battery for a minute then put it
back on, started up no problem.
Unfortunately now the car won’t start at all
except when jumped!

Replace your battery. Check the ground wire terminal and cable to make sure it’s not lose broken or heavy corrosion. After you replace the battery turn off the heater/ac and lights. Start the car and let it idle for 8 minutes. Then turn on the AC full blast letting it run another 8 minutes. This releases the idle position and will prevent stalling or sputtering when you drive it.
