I was driving the other night and it made a pop sound it instantly lost power wouldn’t pull in any gear and won’t go into park. I turned it off for about 25 minutes and was able to get it to move someone and checked it today and it’s colder out about 30 degrees and it moved better today but still is very very sluggish and won’t engage into park if you try to put it into park when the vehicle is running it makes a grinding noise. The shifter moves back and forth smoothly all except for park

Update. Dealership just called said that the passenger side cv axle broke and sheered off at the end and a the boot on the driver-side was cracked as well and starting to throw a little grease and the same thing would happen in the future if it wasn’t replaced. They advised $917 (Parts and labor) to replace both sides. He advised if one went bad on them that it automatically caused the others to freewheel and go into limp mode. They said two days to get the parts in and would probably be Monday or Tuesday of next week before they got the repairs done.
