Timing Jumped

Asked by GuruC5ZJT Feb 05, 2019 at 10:37 PM about the 2014 Ford Explorer Sport 4WD

Question type: General

I have a 2014 Sport Explorer. The car runs great - no indication of trouble. But
for about 2 weeks, the engine Icon on my dash board was showing up
intermittently. I took it to AutoZone, and got a Crankshaft-Camshaft Position
Correlation code: P0016. What causes this to show up? Does it have anything
to do with oil changes - which i've done every 10k miles? Thanks.

Could be frayed wires on the position sensor. Check the net for P0016 code. It will supply you with things you can check.
