Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have had two batteries go dead.  my daughter noticed the keypad flashing.  I hit the remote to try to stop it.  I went out and started the car, the keypad kept flashing.  What is causing this??

I suspect that the flashing keypad is trying to tell you you have attempted to lock the car but something is not closed properly. This may be a door switch that has failed and the car thinks a door is still open. This may also be why your battery has gone dead. A courtesy light may still be on causing the drain.
