it certainly won't match the originl seat but i wouldn't be at all surprised if it does fit, the 2 cars are basically same.
It will bolt in, but 2000+ seats have sensors for the airbag system in it...the '99 doesn't have the sensor. The airbag light will be on with an older seat and the airbags may not work properly.
