The choke light is going on and off on my
Pontiac 6000 why

Check the choke to see if it is all the way open when the car is fully warmed up. Check the car when cold to see if the choke is closed all the way.

Square carbuerator is problematic..Get carb rebuilt. Got to let car warm up good(10-15 min.) before take off. Have to pump gas alot t make sure gas getting to carb, mainly when engine is cold. Keep engine tuned up.Good car. Will last
