I'm a female can I change the transmission on my 1988 ford bronco xlt?

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

The clutch went to the floor twice then I
wasshutting off truck to get it to go in gear
now stuck in gear any ideas?

Being female just means you may do a better job- lol- but it is a bear of a job and it would be better if you have some experience doing work like that- you may get lucky and it could be that the clutch linkage or shifter linkage is broken- start there- that job is hard enough-

Being a very independent girl I don't have any mechanics lying around, so me it is Thank you for your advice....Like you I hope it's the linkage on either. Wish me luck. ....
