i put new pluds and wires on a 2003 ranger 2.3L it ran for a day now it will not start

Check to make sure that you have spark, and that your coil is OK. Also check that the main wire from coil to cap has not come loose (if it wasn't seated fully it may have vibrated off).

if that doesn't help you'll have to pull 1 plug at a time to check the gap and see if 1 is off
