i have an 89 f150 and the clutch pedal will not come all the way back up

when at a stop after driving and pedal is been held down, on acceleration the pedal will not come all the way back up. i replaced the clutch master cylinder for the same problem.

Did you also check the slave cylinder and bleed system ?

Your vehicle is letting you know its time for a new clutch once you put in a new clutch pedal will come back up unless you just recently had a clutch out in.
