Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Hey so on the AC climate control cluster.
The lever for the temperature doesn't move
to heat. I took apart the dash and replaced
the little unit cause I thought that was the
problem. But it isn't. I'm guessing the rod
is old or jammed and can't move. How do I
fix that.

I belive this one works with vacuum. Check a vacuum line by firewall on passanger side

I never saw the comment on this thread. I'm going to work on the AC climate box this weekend. Would you happen to know where I can a access the temperature control cable to see if it's jammed?

The control plate should be behind the glove compartment. I'm not sure if your trying to get the heater going but I hope you checked the heater core to make sure you have hot coolant circulating through it. You can do this by checking the heater hoses by fire wall after truck has reached running temperature, to see if they both feel hot, if not, you may have a plugged or bypassed heater core

Oh okay perfect, I will look for that this weekend. I'm sure the heater works fine I just cannot get the lever to change the temperature. I'll update you this weekend to see if I've fixed it! Thanks!
