bad amp or its wired wrong ? short ...what size fuse ? and for what?

I take it you had a music amp installed. What is the amperage it is pulling/rated? At any rate there should be blank positions inside the fuse box for various accessories your vehicle is not equipped with. Determine the amperage your device is pulling and wire a circuit to that fuse and install the proper size fuse. I suspect your amp is pulling more than the fuse is rated for.

Did you put in a thousand watt amp? Big amps need special wiring. I would take it to a good stereo shop.
