Engine not starting

2013 CrossTour began having
engine starting issues recently.
Push Button Start, light display
comes on but engine only clicks.
Saw there were several other
comments but they were a year
ago... Checked
owners.honda.com there are no
recalls for my VIN #.

After removing the starter and taking it apart I discovered that the contact washer (see photo) had an extremely worn area which was causing the intermitten starting issue. I wrote to American Honda and received a reply back that stated there are no recalls on this item.
