Value of a 81 Westfalia

I need advice from those in the know. I want to know the value of barn kept
81 Westfalia. 66,000 original km (41000miles) Very good condition. All clean.
Everything looks new, canvas, material, foam. I'm the second owner. First
owner was an older gentleman, drove it for a few years and passed away.
Been in a barn ever since. Replaced all hoses, belts and gas tank after
sitting for so long. Fires up, runs well, small oil leak that I will take care of but
burns clean. Thoughts???

Book value is $12K US dollars. in very good condition. But it could be worth more to the right person. These don't come upper for sale too often. If you are looking to sell it, I would suggest you post it up for auction on bringatrailer.com , it could sell for thousand more.

With it being kept in a barn, I would take a close look at the wiring harness and make sure mice haven't been eating on it

Yes I had a guy go through all the electrical and replace what was necessary so electrical is good and all works.
