Engine Swap from 1984 Eldorado Biarritiz- Help

I have the standard HT4100 by far is the worse
motor in history to me! What motor can I change it
out with?

This car also came with the crappy Olds diesel. I suspect you could bolt in a Olds gas V8 or with an adapter a SBC.

You should be able to convert the engine to run on all 8 cylinders all the time (probably my choice).
