Stalls on freeway in hot weather and wants to stall when idle with A/C on when stopped

When driving for about an hour on the freeway, car started to lose power and
then stalled.  It was over 90 degrees outside.  This has happened before.  
Check engine light comes on.  Once the car cools down a bit, it will start right
up but will come back.  It also tends to want to stall when the AC is on and I'm
at a stop light.  Usually it is very hot outside.  Doesn't happen when it is cold.

It might be the Camshaft Position Sensor. It cost me 37 bucks at AutoZone. If oil gets in the sensor, it will stall or lose power. You can change it yourself. I bought a Code reader at Amazon for 20 dollars and with an App, it gave me the code P034. I chande it and now it works.

I live in Phoenix. When it is over 104 and I drive over ten miles, it stalls and won't start for about an hour. I just accept, now I don't drive if it is over 104 degrees. If it is like 112, I can go about two miles to the store and back, but that is it. works fine when temps 104 and below.
