Newly installed 2013 Sentra CVT pulses/revs/hesitates when going downhill

I have a 2013 Nissan Sentra SV which at 109,000 mi had the
usual total CVT failure. I was told I needed to replace it with a
new CVT ($5K installed) purchased from the local Nissan
dealership.  Transmission appears to work fine except when
the car is going downhill at around 40 miles per hour it starts
to hesitate then speed up then slow down. My original CVT
never did this going downhill during the entire life of the
transmission.  I'm getting transmission judder trouble codes.
Do I need to press the installation shop for a new warranty
CVT replacement?
