i have a 1993 dodge dakota with the 5.2,i came to a stop and it died on me, it turns over but not getting any fire, and i cant even hear the fuel pump, i put a new coil on it, what could the problem b

you need to test for spark and fuel pressure , make sure injectors are firing with a noid light

start at one point and work your way back , the coil gets an amplified signal from a module , the module would get a signal from a crank sensor , there may be a cam sensor also , thats how it generally works your experience may differ
