Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Ok, I need some help here. I've been trying to figure out this issue for quite some time now. Read through countless pages of forums on numerous sites, and I still can't resolve it.

I have a 1993 Dodge Dakota, 2 DR with a 3.9, 186k miles. Idles fine, the problem is that it will pop from the exhaust with any touch/movement of the throttle. It does this constantly.

Thing I've already replaced: ECM, TPS, CPS, IAC, O2 sensor, PCV valve, EGR, timing set, wires and plugs (gaped to .035), intake manifold gasket, engine coolant sensor. Removed throttle body and cleaned it, checked all vacuum hoses and replaced all bad ones and made sure they were routed correctly. Checked injectors and installed new o-rings. Checked distributor cap. Checked combustion and fuel pressure.

TPS? With the TPS mounted to the throttle body, any throttle movement (manual or from the pedal) will result with popping. Unbolting and removing the TPS from the TB, but leaving it connected, I can rev the engine as much as I want without any problems. No backfire/afterfires, nothing. Getting a 4.99 volt from the purple+black wires, .77 from orange+black. Didnt get to check the range with throttle movement or resistance yet. Is the TPS the issure? Possibly the MAP? Or is it something else completely?

Me again. Disregard this post. Seems my distributor was just slightly off the no. 1 cylinder. Re-aligned it again and the truck runs perfectly now.
