What is this mystery leak

Asked by James Jun 14, 2020 at 05:21 PM about the 2013 Ford F-150 XLT

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I'm leaking something from right under my rad.
Smells and feels more like oil then coolant. There
are two lines steel running from under my engine
that seem to be wet with the oil.

If the fluid is red and oily it is transmission fluid. Antifreeze is also somewhat greasy feeling.

The fluid is clear or golden. It smells a little medicine and is oily and not sweet.

I thought it may be power steering too as my year and model don't have a reservoir I can check it's tough to confirm.

Ford transmission fluid is gold, could be that.
