You could charge the battery and change the oil.

First don't worry too much about your new-ish Tacoma. Vehicles have sat for years and been restarted with a battery recharge and fresh gas. Open the hood, look for any animal droppings , chewed wires, chewed hoses, check the air filter is clean (not a rats nest) repair/replace as needed any items. Take the battery to a national auto parts store (Auto Zone, O'Reilly's, etc.). have them check the battery and recharge it. Starting with your recharged battery, keeping in mind, the engine oil has all settled to the oil pan, so start the engine and let it warm up to operating temp--Don't Rev it up during this time-- after it gets to operating temp; look for any fluid leaks, listen for any knocking rattling sounds. This is my opinion, and I have done this on my own vehicle ('95 T100) after only a year and half non-run time. Afterwards a certified mechanic checked the truck out (I drove it the 20+ miles to his shop) and declared it sound and ready to roll.
