While I agree that the all wheel drive system in Mercedes Benz is really good, I don't think I'd rate it as "magic" With a good what? Owner? Pet? Blow dry?
OK, properly maintained and not beat or neglected, it should give you 150K of reliable service without anything major being replaced. Do the maintenance the right way with the right fluids and it should last a good 5 more years. Don't be a cheapskate
