truck will not shut off when turn ignition switchto off. it is still running

Could be voltage back feeding though the amp meter , that was a thing in older dodge trucks , sometimes . Bad ignition switch ?

Yep sure sounds like a voltage feedback, the problem is this is a computer controlled charging system so it could be the ECM or even the BCM as both control the charging circuits. I think your going to need professional help with this one so take it to your favorite shop to have it checked out.
