98 Dodge Dakota won't start

Asked by OdhinWolf Oct 16, 2019 at 08:53 PM about the 1998 Dodge Dakota Club Cab 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Being new to welding I messed up and did not
disconnect my battery before laying bead. Truck
now will not start. I can get what sounds like it's
trying to turn over but goes dead. When I open
either door there is a clicking coming from under
the glove box. I checked all fuses and they are
good. Could it be my computer is fried? I already
have an issue with the cluster, gauges work when
they want.
