Poor credit a few late payments excellent job can I possibly get the car that I want with good payments?

I'm driving a basic Honda I'm like 11,000 in but I want a new car. The amount
of my car payment I should be able to drive a better car that I'm driving I have
a great job but because I started a new job last year my pay period
changedso it caused an issue with my rent and other bills which made a few
payments late just want to see what my options are

You can, I would try a finance company, credit unions, see what the Dealer of the car you want to buy has to offer.

If your car payments weren't more than 30 days late, there should be no issues on your credit history for them, as banks will only begin reporting delinquencies after 30 days.
