Dodge durango wont start

Asked by DodgeWont365 Apr 26, 2021 at 09:46 PM about the 2000 Dodge Durango SLT RWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Hello.
My 2000 durango 318/5.2l will not
start.  The water pump went south on
way home. Engine got hot. Pulled
over,let cool down1 1/2 hours. Topped
off with water, started right up made it
home. Replaced water pump, bypass
hose, thermostat, electric fan and AC
condenser.  Put everything back
together and it cranks over but first few
attempts sounded like it was locked
up. Like when timing is advanced to
far. After a couple trysts it spins over
but no fire. Replaced coil and still no
juice at coil. Good pressure on fuel rail.
Any ideas of a cause?
