my grandpa give me  1985 Nissan300zx
turbo  car starts but it won't move
It changes gears but won't move I put on
drive it does not move or other gear it's a
auto tranny it has fluid on it

I agree that it sounds like a torque converter issue. I would pull the pan and check for items in the screen, such as metallic particles, and if the screen is clogged. Flushing fluid, cleaning screen, etc. may fix your issue. More than likely though it is probably a mechanical issue such as the converter

    I started leaking trans oil about 3 days ago. I check under the car and I see leaked oil on the starter and by the pan but it's dry I'm not sure where it can be from .

    Barely made it up driveway in first gear while having to step on the gas quite a bit. I'm able to engage every gear including reverse but car will not drive at all. Appreciate any help.
