We have had our dash cluster replaced since they said that was the problem. $600+ That worked for a very short time....we don’t drive our 200 on a daily basis....so we opened the trunk a dozen times I’d say and now it doesn’t open anymore. Now they tell us it’s the transmission solenoid....$700+ I’m beginning to think they don’t have a clue!! Calling crystler Corp tomorrow!!

The car has to be in park if just not working when car running. Otherwise check that wire hasnt come loose in the trunk at the latch

We were able to get my trunk open by one person pressing the button and the other person pulling up on the trunk lid. I know this wont fix the problem, but at least you can get to what you need to check in the trunk area.
