Having hesitation during acceleration from a complete stop. What can it be?

My 2013 Subaru Legacy has been having
hesitation during acceleration from a complete
stop. The RPMs run high and then when I let off
the gas it will catch up and want to go. Had the
codes checked and nothing showed up. No lights
turn on on the dash. Not sure what is causing this.
Any help will be appreciated.
