dodge dart rear tailights

I just bought a 2013 dodge dart rallye and noticed
that all the other darts I've seen have the rear tail
lights in the middle that go across the car trunk to
connect both tail lights mine doesn't have that
should it come with mine and I need to get it fixed
or is it an aftermarket option

Looks like a factory item, the car would come with this piece across the trunk.
That I do not know, If your car came with one there should be mounting holes threw the trunk lid or evidence of a piece being glued on, and there would be a set of wires running along the inside of the trunk lid if it does light up. You think that the car may have ben rear ended? So when fixed, that piece didn't get put back on? Possibilities...
It was a factory option and can be added on as an accessory by the dealership. There was actually quite an uproar in 2013 about this topic because all of the Rally marketing materials had lights all the way across. Dodge contacted us Rally owners and offered to add the lights for somewhere around $150. If I recall correctly, they were basically doing it below cost to make us happy.
