Dakota dieing when cold won't start when hot
My 2001 dodge Dakota has to reach the half mark
in temp or else it dies at stops. Once I reach
destination I have to let it cool for an hour to be
able to restart. Trani also slips when cold but not
when hot. Need to know where to start. Changed
plugs, wires, o2 sensor, just need this piece of u
know what to last me 6 mons till I can get a better
one any ideas quick fixes?
Would the check engine light be on? I would have the vehicle scanned for any trouble codes. But some causes would be the crankshaft sensor, or the coils. These can be tested at an auto parts store.
