2002 neon idles fine but shuts down in drive.

2002 neon idles fine, as soon as i put it in drive and step on thuttle it shuts down. Changed fuel pump thinking that was the problem but no, any hints as to what else it may be?

This could be you need to clean your throttle body,and tps sensor,did you change your fuel filter all so?

I was of the assumption the only fuel filter was the one with the fuel pump assembly. No in line filter. I will try cleaning the throttle body and tps sensor. Thanks for your response.Will let you know the results.
