How much to convert a Ford Explorer from British to us standards

Asked by Adjustment Jul 29, 2017 at 08:19 AM about the 2013 Ford Explorer Limited 4WD

Question type: Car Customization

I want to buy a 2013 Ford Explorer but it needs body replacements.  Doors,
seats, console, windshield, and fix body dents. No under the hood problems.
How much would a full makeover cost?

If you have a upull store around you it would cost a lot less. The most expensive thing would be the labor if you hire someone to do it. The upull place near me is cheap. For a whole motor its only 200 but that is if "upullit" lol doors, siding and other stuff is in the double digits so its worth it. I have restored several cars I still have that way.

The paint job could run several grand alone. I hope this Explorer is dirt cheap because it could easily cost $10 grand to have a body shop do the work you listed. Must be a Salvage vehicle.

You do need to explain the British to American thing. Nothing you described has anything to do with differences like RHD.
