2012 F-150, fist two positions of the blower not working

The first two selected positions of the blower fan do not appear to be working.  
could it be a fuse, loose wires or actual switch?  Just trouble shooting now and
looking to see if someone has suggestions.

Default, to high speed only.The test procedure for your symptom is to check for DTC's and if none are found, disconnect the blower motor speed control connector and turn the ignition on. If the blower does not run, then it is assumed the wiring has no shorts and the control should be replaced. blower motor controller, $80 approx new.
