Honda Oddysey 2007 won't start

Asked by Esther May 24, 2022 at 07:04 PM about the 2007 Honda Odyssey Touring FWD with DVD and Navigation

Forgot to remove/turn key to fully off mode and now the
minivan won't start or even show any lights on dash even
when I tried to jump it off. This minivan has a brand new
alternador and battery just put it on a month ago.
Any advice

If you fried the battery , it may be u able to hold any charge. Jumping won't help. Need new battery.

Totally killing a battery can ruin a new battery, so get the battery tested. Then don’t forget to reset the security system after the battery is either recharged or replaced.

Try charging the battery for several hours, perhaps overnight. If the battery is completely dead you may not be able to jump start the vehicle. Also, charging a battery that's completely dead with the vehicle's alternator is not good. The alternator wasn't designed for that. Once the battery is charged, load test it. If it passes the load test you should be good to go. Hope that helps! Jim
