3.5L dodge intrepid

My intrepid stopped running while driving
down the road....I pooped the hood and
there was a little smoke and smelled like
rubber on a wire burning but haven't found
any brunt wires....car will turn over but
doesn't seem the same as before and won't
fire....HELP
