Truck smokes after oil changewhat could cause it .

Truck smokes after oil change out of
exhaust pipe , really white smoke .
The oil change was overdue and oil
seems to be disappearing now as well

Its called blue smoke. Sounds like truck sat for a while. If so i would take a can of seafoam and put in gas tank let it get cleaned out. Read the can for best way to use. You cannot just start any vehicle that just sits around and not expect a reaction. Never put too much oil in.

So my question is in what capacity do you say the oil seem to be disappearing ? Are you waiting for the oil to drip back in the pan for st least 5 to 7 minutes after shutting off motot? What activity were you doing to assume the oil is missing? There is way too much information missing out of your story/ complaint

Ur truck has val stems and seals on it. Sometimes the val seals on it. And as the the pistons go up and down it creates suckon on the val seals which drawers the oil into the pistons. That should not happen the seals are there so that does not happen. If the pistons wall were scached u would lose combustion persure. Not oil suction into the pistons
