How do i get my 2004 ford explorer back window to open without having to open the whole door?

I have the rubber covered button and the button on
the key fob but neither open the window. On my
2002 it did but not this one

If the button for the rear hatch window on the affected vehicle does not work then obviously there is an electrical problem inside hatch. Open the hatch and remove the inside panel exposing the mechanisms. Check the net for how to check the actuator for a fault. Replace if defective.
