Code doesn't necessarily mean the mass air flow sensor is bad, it just points you to that area. I could be a dirty or no air filter, filter not sitting properly or air leak on the hose between air filter and mass sensor.
Could be the wiring going to the sensor or a bad plug at the sensor. Hope that helps! Jim
